SIGN ON BONUS
This bonus will be paid out as follows: ; $2,500 will be paid after you have successfully worked for 60 days and $2,500 will be paid after you have successfully worked for 120 days ;
AREA MANAGER
Run the business. Lead the team. Make the impact. Right At School provides Before & After School, Summer Camp, and Break Camp programs at 1,200+ schools across the country. Our programs deliver hands-on enrichment activities, homework support, active play, social-emotional learning, and more — all guided by a mission to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind. As an Area Manager, you'll oversee multiple school-based enrichment programs — owning business strategy, performance, quality, and growth across every site, while serving as Right At School's local connection to school leadership, families, and program staff. Your leadership sets the standard every site lives up to — and shapes the next generation of RAS leaders along the way.
Pay Rate:
$65,000-$70,000 annually (based on education and experience)
Schedule:
Full-time, salaried; hybrid — regular travel across your assigned sites required
Location:
Hanover, VA and surrounding areas What You'll Do Oversee curriculum implementation and program quality across all assigned sites, ensuring consistency with RAS standards Maintain direct profit & loss responsibility for your portfolio of programs, driving efficiency and cost management Develop and execute local marketing and outreach strategies to grow enrollment and community awareness of RAS programs Ensure all assigned sites maintain compliance with state-specific licensing and regulatory requirements Implement and enforce standardized operating procedures across sites to drive consistent program quality Build and maintain collaborative relationships with school administrators, parent-teacher organizations, and community partners Hire, lead, coach, and develop your team of Educators and Program Managers, holding them accountable to performance and quality standards

Autonomy with support:
Full ownership of your portfolio, backed by RAS's training and systems. What We're Looking For Experience managing competing priorities while delivering quality service to staff, families, and school partners Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a multi-unit manager Direct P&L ownership experience Strong relationship-building skills with school administrators, parent organizations, and community partners Comfortable managing and developing a team of site-level leaders Familiarity with Google Workspace or willingness to learn Willingness to travel regularly across an assigned market
