This role is not typically tasked with the management of individual projects, but instead, to ensure that our projects are properly staffed, permitted, supplied and that they are safe. The right candidate will be able to identify and correct deficiencies as a team and as they show themselves. The right candidate will have enough experience in the reconstruction industry to evaluate and identify high risk projects and work within our team to mitigate it. Lastly, the field operations supervisor is the point person for conducting both the reviews of existing field staff and participating in the interview process for new ones. The right fit for this role may be an established field superintendent or construction manager looking to take the next step in operations. Perhaps a previous general contractor looking for growth. It will require a great deal of construction knowledge, site specific expertise and the ability to engage with new technologies. You'll be participating in and leading meetings involving our clients, employees and subcontractors. Assign, maintain and coordinate workforce allocation based on current and future project needs
Track division manpower, approving timecards and time off requests/needs
Assist with project scheduling, including overall team schedule and forecasting
Assign projects to construction teams based on value, size and risk
Participate in meetings related to division updates, safety, manpower coordination, training, etc.
Supervise multiple crews, both McBride's and subcontractors on multiple sites
Review all material purchase packing slips for accuracy prior to being posted
Review and approval of mileage reimbursements for the division
Be the point person for the division's quality control, utilizing both frequent site visits and electronic methods
Perform reviews in a timely manner and provide productive coaching to our staff as needed
Participate in the interview process as needed

Experience:
Associate's degree in construction management or a long tenured journeyman carpenter with no less than a decade of progressively increasing responsibility and experience.
Thorough knowledge in all phases of construction
Comfortable and persuasive in negotiations and client meetings
Organized, self-directed and has excellent leadership ability
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software
