Develop the Team. Drive the Experience. Are you an experienced gaming leader who knows how to bring together people, performance, and an exceptional guest experience? The Point Casino & Hotel is looking for a Slot Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our Slot Attendant Department. This is an opportunity to take ownership of one of the most exciting areas of the casino while developing a strong team, improving operations, and helping shape the future of our gaming experience. What You'll Do As our Slot Operations Manager, you'll oversee the people and operations that keep our Slot Department running at its best.
You'll:
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Slot Department Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop Slot team members Build a team culture centered around exceptional guest service and hospitality Monitor staffing levels and address performance, development, and operational needs Conduct team meetings and communicate procedural and operational updates Develop and implement training programs to strengthen team performance Resolve escalated guest concerns and gaming-related issues Partner with Marketing and other departments to support promotions and guest engagement Analyze operational activity, costs, revenue performance, and forecasts Prepare reports and identify opportunities to improve departmental performance Help develop and implement strategic plans and departmental initiatives Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and internal controls Protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance Represent the Slot Department in meetings and provide operational insight to company leadership Help communicate and implement property-wide initiatives and organizational changes More Than Managing the Floor This position isn't just about keeping the Slot Department running. You'll have the opportunity to develop people, analyze performance, improve operations, and contribute to larger strategic decisions. You'll work closely with the Assistant General Manager of Gaming and other department leaders to make sure Slot operations support the goals, mission, and vision of The Point Casino & Hotel. What We're Looking For We're looking for a confident and experienced leader who understands gaming operations and knows how to turn challenges into solutions. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 5 or more years of general operations management experience At least 2 years of experience in a gaming establishment Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills Strong leadership and team-development abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills Ability to analyze percentages, ratios, probability, and other operational data Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience working with database systems Ability to prepare and analyze reports, charts, correspondence, and operational information Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive matters Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Gaming Systems Experience Experience with the following systems is required or preferred as outlined for the position: LNW CMP Live Floor View SDS STM/EMA and Servizio experience preferred Additional Requirements Must obtain a Class III Gaming License issued by the Washington State Gaming Commission and Port Gamble S'Klallam Gaming Commission Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License Must be able to consent to and pass a hair follicle drug and alcohol screening as a condition of employment Must be able to regularly move throughout the casino floor and occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds Must be comfortable working in a casino environment with variable noise levels, bright and flashing lights, and exposure to secondhand smoke Ready to Take the Lead?
