Our facility operates advanced roll-to-roll coating and laminating equipment producing high-value materials for major U.S. brands in the printing, packaging, and specialty materials industries. This is not a traditional corporate Plant Manager position. You will be directly involved in the technical side of the operation, including machine settings, coating selection, production scheduling, troubleshooting, trials, quality documentation, raw materials, and operator leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a chemistry, materials science, engineering, coating, laminating, converting, or printing background who wants to grow into a Plant Manager position while remaining hands-on with the manufacturing process. What You'll Do Manage technical parameters including machine speeds, temperatures, impressions, coat weights, and gravure roll selection Select coatings for production and trials and work with modifiers, crosslinkers, and transfer efficiency Troubleshoot coating defects, machine issues, roll problems, and process deviations Build daily and weekly production schedules and coordinate changeovers Plan and execute new product and customer trials Complete food-grade documentation, CPDS, emissions logs, technical sheets, and audit paperwork Determine raw-material requirements and coordinate purchasing needs Hire, train, supervise, and develop approximately 10 skilled plant operators Maintain safety and compliance documentation Work closely with lab, purchasing, costing, and ownership Take ownership of the technical and operational direction of the plant What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Paper Science, Mechanical Engineering , or a related field preferred Equivalent hands-on technical manufacturing experience will also be considered 3-10 years of experience in coating, laminating, converting, printing, flexible packaging, paper, films, adhesives, or related manufacturing Hands-on experience working with machine settings and process parameters Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Comfortable working directly with industrial production equipment Ability to complete quality and regulatory documentation Leadership experience or the ability to supervise and train skilled operators Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage production priorities and deadlines This Position Is a Good Fit If You... Enjoy being on the production floor and solving technical problems rather than managing from an office. You are comfortable making decisions, troubleshooting equipment and processes, working with operators, and taking ownership when something isn't running correctly. You don't need a large engineering or quality department behind you to solve problems—you are comfortable digging into the process yourself. What We Offer $95,000

•120,000 annual salary Full benefits package Profit sharing 4-day production week Advanced, large-scale industrial equipment High-value production supporting major national brands Direct interaction with company ownership Significant responsibility and independence Opportunity to grow into the Plant Manager role Apply If you have hands-on experience with coatings, laminating, converting, printing, gravure, adhesives, films, paper, or industrial process equipment , we would like to hear from you.
