In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using barcode scanning and RF scanners to ensure accuracy. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments, verifying quantities against shipping documents while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain organized inventory levels by stocking shelves accurately and updating inventory management systems in real-time. Conduct quality control checks on picked items to ensure order accuracy and product integrity before shipment. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and safe operation of warehouse machinery. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve processes, and ensure compliance with warehouse distribution standards. Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software. Skilled in order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and stock replenishment. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards. Excellent attention to detail for barcode scanning for logistics accuracy and quality control checks. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking and packing.
