Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Picker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. In this position, you'll operate various heavy equipment, manage inventory, and adhere to safety protocols to maintain a smooth warehouse operation. Responsibilities Select and prepare products for shipment using order picking techniques, including manual handling and the operation of equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts Load and unload materials safely using heavy equipment while following OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols Maintain accurate inventory levels through inventory control procedures and update inventory management software regularly Pack orders efficiently, ensuring proper packaging standards are met for safe shipping and receiving Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse storage areas for optimal workflow Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 software to track order status, inventory levels, and shipment details Follow all safety guidelines including PPE use, heavy lifting techniques, and proper materials handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and inventory management Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and logistics processes like load & unload procedures Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence under OSHA standards Technical proficiency in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in warehouse supervision or warehouse management is a plus but not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in warehousing and logistics.
