Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that orders are fulfilled efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent manual handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities Utilize warehouse management systems and RF scanners to accurately pick items according to order specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load and unload materials safely. Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit. Ensure proper barcode scanning for logistics accuracy during shipping and receiving processes. Maintain inventory accuracy by stock replenishment, stock counting, and updating inventory management systems. Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all warehouse activities. Assist in shipping and receiving operations by loading and unloading goods efficiently. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas. Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety guidelines. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize order picking, packing, and inventory procedures. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse operations and distribution processes. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar machinery. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory management systems. Demonstrated ability to perform order picking, packing, shipping & receiving tasks accurately. Experience with materials handling equipment operation and manual handling techniques. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment. Previous roles involving warehouse supervision or team coordination are considered advantageous.
