Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing and packaging team as a Cannabis Manufacturing & Packaging Associate! In this energetic role, you will be at the forefront of producing high-quality cannabis products, ensuring each item meets strict safety and quality standards. Your hands-on involvement will include operating industrial equipment, managing materials handling processes, and executing precise packaging procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced industry while honing your mechanical and manufacturing skills in a compliant, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other industrial machinery, ensuring smooth production flows. Perform routine mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse, utilizing forklift and hand tools for heavy lifting and movement of raw materials and finished products. Execute packaging tasks with precision, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and FDA regulations to ensure product safety and compliance. Follow strict safety standards during production activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Assist in assembly processes for various product components, maintaining quality control throughout each step. Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing lines, troubleshoot industrial equipment issues, and document any deviations or repairs needed. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility, preferably within the cannabis or pharmaceutical industry, is highly desirable. Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations related to production environments. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and perform basic repairs using hand tools. Experience operating warehouse machinery with proper certification is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting techniques and safe materials handling practices. Proven ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
