Ward's Auctions is looking for 4 temporary employees to help pack our auction for approximately 2 weeks. Ideally, a qualified candidate would have an open/flexible schedule. While this is a short term temporary position, it can be a reoccurring position for those who have flexible schedules or are looking for temporary work to fill a gap in employment. We utilize Packers/Temporary Workers every 3 months, for approximately the first two weeks of the months: March, June, Sept, Dec. This job requires candidates to be reliable, have attention to detail and a good work ethic. •Work is in proximity with firearms & ammunition. Candidates with criminal records need not apply . Interviews for this position will close on Wednesday 8/26.

Upcoming Temporary Work Period:

Monday 8/31 - Friday 9/11 (last day will depend on date of completion, could be earlier than 9/11). Work period will go no later than Friday 9/11. •Monday 9/7/26 is Labor Day and we will not be working that day.

Training Day:

Thursday 8/27/2026 (9am-11am)

Regular Working Hours:

8am- 4:30pm

Lunch:

Unpaid 30min

Compensation:

Minimum Wage ($15.55) (Employed through CanStaff Employment Services, Keizer)

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

Wrap/package various collectible items (art, ammo boxes, decoys, misc. collectible items) with various packaging supplies & tools (tape guns, bubble wrap, box knives, etc.) Check Buyer Numbers & Item Numbers Measure Box Dimensions Weigh boxes Able to lift 20-40 lbs regularly for 8 hours. Able to sit/stand comfortably for 8 hours.

Comfortable working with groups/ individually Good Attitude Good communication skills Ability to follow instructions Ability to work in an organized fashion Comfortable asking questions Good penmanship is a plus Must have own transportation/valid drivers license Summary As a Packer, you will be integral to our operations, ensuring that products are accurately accounted for and properly prepared for shipment.
