: Job Summary

This position involves physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward frequently. The role includes moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes. The weight of these items ranges from 10+ lbs, and they are moved manually and via hand carts.

Responsibilities

Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.

Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.

Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.

Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.

Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.

Read and write English to process orders and track inventory.

Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.

Operate a handheld scanner.

Climb and balance on ladders.

Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 10+ lbs without assistance for prolonged periods.

Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.

Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.

Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying boxes regularly.

Capability to operate material handling equipment safely.

Proficiency in reading and writing English.

Experience with computer systems and handheld scanners is preferred.
