The Packaging Specialist serves as a key support role in the packaging department, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and organization on the packaging line. This position works closely with the Packing Supervisor and Line Lead to ensure packaging equipment, materials, and workflow remain consistent and reliable. Key Responsibilities Package finished products according to company specifications Verify labeling accuracy, product codes, and packaging requirements Assist with setup and operation of packaging equipment Monitor packaging materials and supply levels Maintain organized packing and staging areas Inspect packaged products for quality and consistency Follow food safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation procedures Assist with product staging for shipping Support Line Leads and supervisors with packaging workflow Communicate packaging or equipment issues promptly Qualifications Manufacturing, packaging, or food production experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Mechanical aptitude helpful Ability to follow procedures and instructions Dependable and team-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to work in refrigerated production environments Ability to perform repetitive packaging tasks
