Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Record Center Specialist to join our team. This role involves physical tasks such as moving, arranging, lifting, and loading storage boxes, bins, and totes. The position requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward throughout shifts. Protective footwear meeting
ASTM F2413-11
standards is required, with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best."
Responsibilities
Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
Lift and carry boxes weighing 10-100 lbs regularly without assistance.
Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.
Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
Operate a handheld scanner.
Climb and balance on ladders.
Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.
Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
Qualifications
Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
Capability to work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including navigating inclines, stairs, and various walking surfaces.
Must be able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods.
Work Schedule
Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.
