Just-in-Time Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring that customers receive the right products, on time, and in perfect condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using handheld scanners or pick lists. Verify product information, quantities, and lot numbers before packaging. Prepare and stage picked items for packing and shipping. Maintain a clean and organized picking area to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product handling, labeling, and inventory tracking. Report inventory discrepancies or damaged products to the Warehouse Supervisor. Assist with restocking and replenishment of shelves as needed. Adhere to all company safety guidelines and participate in daily safety checks. Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Previous warehouse, fulfillment, or order-picking experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer or scanner knowledge. Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). Familiarity with eCommerce fulfillment or 3PL operations. Forklift or pallet jack certification a plus.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced warehouse setting with regular movement and moderate noise. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety vests. Flexible schedule availability may be required during peak seasons.
