This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, preparing packages for shipment, and maintaining a clean, organized, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in accuracy and customer service. Key Responsibilities Receive, sort, and organize incoming products and mail-order materials. Pick products accurately according to customer orders. Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment. Verify products, quantities, shipping information, and order details before packages leave the department. Print and apply shipping labels and other required documentation. Handle packages carefully to prevent damage or loss. Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory. Maintain an organized and clean packing and work area. Communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or order issues to supervisors. Meet department productivity and accuracy standards. Follow company procedures for shipping, safety, and quality control. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, mail order, retail, or package-handling experience is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills and ability to learn order-processing/shipping systems. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to safely lift and move packages and stand for extended periods. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to regularly lift and move packages weighing up to 5 0 lbs Ability to perform repetitive packing, labeling, sorting, and handling tasks.
