This position works primarily inside a refrigerated packing cooler and is responsible for ensuring each account receives the correct products and quantities. Products may include sandwiches, salads, entrées, soups, snacks, beverages, and other prepared food items. Accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a cold environment are essential to this position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read packing sheets to determine the correct products and quantities needed for each account. Pick and place the correct number of sandwiches, salads, entrées, soups, and other food items into each account's designated tote. Verify products and quantities for accuracy while packing. Work efficiently to complete all assigned accounts within the required timeframe. Keep the packing cooler, products, and account areas clean and organized. Report missing products, shortages, incorrect quantities, or other issues to a supervisor and assist with other duties as needed. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position requires working the majority of the scheduled shift inside a refrigerated cooler , except during scheduled breaks, lunches, and duties requiring the employee to leave the cooler. Must be able to work comfortably and safely in cold temperatures for extended periods. Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of the shift. Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. Must be able to safely lift and carry products, totes, and other materials required for the position. Appropriate cold-weather clothing and required personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary. Jacket/Gloves/Hat can be provided. Qualifications & Skills Must be able to read and understand written English sufficiently to accurately follow packing lists, product labels, account names, quantities, food-safety information, and written work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to count accurately and match products and quantities to the appropriate accounts. Ability to stay organized while working. Ability to work efficiently and independently while following supervisor direction. Dependable and able to complete assigned work within required timelines. Ability to communicate problems, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.

Pay:

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
