Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with employer match, PTO, and more Job Summary Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnered with a well-established company in the utility infrastructure and renewable energy space to help them hire a Procurement Manager. This role will lead strategic sourcing and procurement activities supporting electrical utility distribution, substation, and utility-scale solar projects ranging from approximately $1M to $200M. Key Responsibilities Lead sourcing and procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontracted services required for major construction projects. Develop strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, quality, and overall value. Evaluate supplier financial stability, contractual compliance, performance, and delivery capabilities. Partner with Project Managers and Estimators to develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and requirements. Manage supplier selection, performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure materials and services are available when required by project schedules. Work closely with Operations and project teams to address quality issues, non-conformances, and vendor performance concerns. Support the continued development and implementation of procurement policies, processes, and best practices. Qualifications and Must-Haves Experience managing procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain activities within construction, utilities, energy, infrastructure, or a related project-driven environment. Strong supplier negotiation, vendor management, and contract management capabilities. Experience purchasing equipment, materials, and/or subcontracted services for complex projects. Ability to evaluate supplier performance, identify risk, and resolve procurement or quality issues. Strong understanding of project schedules and the impact procurement activities have on project execution. Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Management, Estimating, Operations, and external suppliers. Strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details:
