NO Stanley Electric U.S. is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to focus on leading the strategy for strengthening supplier relationships, reducing supply risk, and maintaining an excellent competitive edge.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Purchasing Supplier Development (PSD) Manager provides leadership to the PSD area, ensuring full functionality of the department and supporting associates in their daily duties. The PSD Manager establishes, communicates, and measures performance against objectives. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and implements new methods, processes, etc. Enforces and ensures company and departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions are followed by PSD staff. Provide leadership through performance planning, on-going feedback, and recognition activities to ensure clarity of expectations and achievement of departmental targets. Facilitate sourcing for new models, parts, material, and mass production products. Ensure capability to perform all required customer specifications and regulation items by collaborating and overseeing new model schedules. Monitor and evaluate Supplier Quality concerns to ensure that product performance is improving and costs are mitigated. To enforce and ensure company and departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions are followed by PSD staff.

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in Purchasing and Project Management. 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience applying regulations and customer specifications in a new product environment. Experience with Quality Auditing.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Lifting (40lbs. maximum) 5 hours per day General Office Environment 6 hours per day Manufacturing Environment 2 hours per day Occasional overnight travel may be required to perform essential functions at remote locations or receive training. Required to work overtime (unplanned and unscheduled) to meet customer deadlines and requirements.
