This role delivers value through optimized procurement strategies, strong supplier management, effective contract administration, and close collaboration with operations, accounting, project controls, and key suppliers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Streamline procurement processes through proactive engagement and clear communication with stakeholders Lead, mentor and develop procurement team members Identify stakeholder purchasing needs, cost-savings, and efficiency opportunities Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals Resolve issues with innovative, value-driven solutions Drive and ensure compliance with procedures, processes, and policies Oversee the supplier selection process, conduct supplier evaluations and performance analysis Improve system and software efficiency through analysis, testing, research, and review Partner with accounts payable to monitor supplier accounts and ensure timely, accurate payments Produce and present reports on procurement metrics and related activities Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions and best practices. Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects. Education and Experience 10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. 5+ years of progressive procurement experience, including leadership responsibility. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is a plus. Any relevant certifications are a plus. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong knowledge of sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Demonstrated track record of achieving cost savings and process improvements. Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software; familiarity with data analysis tools a plus. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Adept to work independently, manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality Ability to plan, delegate and evaluate progress towards goals while meeting deadlines Proficient in procurement and accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to compile and analyze data to generate reports Knowledge of supply chain management principles, applicable regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various departments and levels of personnel.
