We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and hands-on Group Home Coordinator to oversee multiple residential programs supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Leadership & Team Development Supervise Residential Supervisors, Lead Program Counselors, and Direct Support Professionals Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence Ensure programs are fully staffed and operating effectively Program & Quality Management Maintain compliance with DDS, ICF, CARF, and agency standards Conduct audits, spot checks, inspections, and quality assurance reviews Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate person-centered services Ensure all documentation, assessments, and reports are completed accurately and on time Resident Support & Advocacy Oversee individualized programs and service plans Ensure residents have access to healthcare, recreation, transportation, and community activities Partner with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and support teams Promote independence, dignity, and meaningful community participation Operational Oversight Manage program budgets and household finances Oversee vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and facility standards Participate in an on-call rotation to support residential programs when needed Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or related field for ICF/DDS programs 5+ years of progressive human services experience At least 1 year of supervisory experience Valid Connecticut Driver's License Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ideal Candidate You are: A natural leader who enjoys mentoring others Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities Comfortable managing multiple priorities and locations Adaptable, organized, and solutions-focused Experienced with regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes What Makes You Successful in This Role?
