This is a Regular-Full Time position with 35 guaranteed hours per week, however may work up to 40. This position has available benefits, to include NAF retirement, 401K, flexible spending account ( FSA ), health, dental and life insurance. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to serve as the Program Manager for the Arts and Crafts Programs which includes but is not limited to: framing and engraving, retail sales, sublimation, organizing programs and classes, Auto Hobby Shop, Jet Stream Java coffee shop, Gunfighters Kids' Gym and Car Wash. Works directly for the Community Services Flight Chief. Maintains the associated cost centers and activities within established guidelines and procedures. Plans, organizes, and directs program activities, ensures program budget compliance, performs full range of supervision of subordinate employees, evaluates program effectiveness, represents program to customers and coordinated support services. Performs and oversees inventories, purchases, supplies, and verifies all deposits and cash handling procedures. Initiates action to obtain supplies through appropriated and non-appropriated channels. Identifies necessary repairs and maintenance for buildings equipment, and machinery. Updates all quarterly and annual budgets for each program managed; develops program plans, capital expenditures, equipment replacement plans and facility projects. Responsible for work orders, time and attendance records, work assignments, work schedules, and the approval/disapproval of leave while ensuring that all programs are adequately staffed. Develops position descriptions when needed, and briefs employees on what is expected of them through mid-term and annual appraisals. Strives to meet all Air Force and wing financial goals and objectives. Works with Marketing to develop sound strategic programming to include data collection and advertising. Works with Resource management to ensure that all internal controls are monitored and followed. Performs surprise cash counts and inventory audits. Trains staff on Risk Management and safety procedures while acting as the activity safety monitor. Plans and monitors recurring and non-recurring activities, special events and community undertakings exploiting the use of facilities, services, and other base resources to maximize the positive impact to the community.
