Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee and implement programs designed to support services at the Bourbon County Activity Center. The ideal candidate will possess organizational skills, experience in program development, and a passion for working with diverse populations. This role involves assisting the Director with events and programs and ensuring the successful delivery of community-based programs. The Program Coordinator will play a vital role in fostering positive outcomes through effective program management and collaboration with team members, clients, and community partners. Responsibilities Assist with developing, implementing, and evaluating programs tailored to the needs of older adults. Maintain full awareness of service goals and objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, service providers, and community organizations to facilitate seamless service delivery. Assist with home visits, driving the Activity Center vehicle, and meal prep/delivery. Coordinate scheduling of services, events, and meetings to maximize participant engagement and program effectiveness. Maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities, participant progress, and administrative records into the State approved database. Maintain confidentiality regarding participants' personal files, information, etc. Conduct outreach efforts to promote programs within the community and increase participation. Requirements Prior experience working with older adults. Excellent administrative skills including record keeping, reporting, and data entry. Knowledge of program management principles and best practices for supporting older adults Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a compassionate and professional manner. $27,000.00 - $31,050.00 per year
