Job Description

Company Overview Life Crisis Center, Inc is dedicated to supporting victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, and Human Trafficking. We provide a 24/7 Shelter and Hotline, offering vital resources and compassionate care to those in need. Our mission is to empower victims to become survivors and help child victims reclaim their childhood through specialized services. Duties 1. Responsible for the general day-to-day operations of the CAC. 2. Schedule, attend, and facilitate monthly case review meetings. 3. Maintain CAC equipment and ensure needs are met of office locations. 4. Schedule peer review in accordance with NCA standards. 5. Ensure that operations adhere to the Somerset County Child Advocacy Center Guidelines for the MDT. 6. Responsible for coordinating and facilitating bi-monthly Advisory Team agenda and communicating ongoing processes of the CAC. 7. Develop and deliver community education and awareness presentations and activities relevant to child abuse awareness/prevention and services offered by the Child Advocacy Center. 8. Provide ongoing professional development and opportunities for wellness and building resiliency as a team for MDT members. 9. Develop and provide a CAC/MDT orientation to all existing and incoming MDT members. 10. Maintain CAC statistics and ensure that all grant reports and data are generated promptly to ensure the sustainability of the CAC. 11. Serve as a liaison to the CAC Advisory Board, the Maryland Children's Alliance and the Southern Region NCAC Chapter. 12. Obtain training to specialize in services to victims, trauma-informed care, and accreditation standards. 13. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Executive Director. Skills Possession of a Master's Degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university is preferred, experience in field can be substituted for higher level degree. Experience in providing crisis intervention to clients who have been victims of abuse. Ability to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish working relationships with community partners. Must have a balanced, realistic attitude toward oneself in the provider role and an ability to maintain objectivity and draw boundaries. Working knowledge of and adherence to laws and ethics pertaining to mental health and in work with children.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
