Type:

full-time The Summit School, located in Edgewater, MD, educates bright students with learning differences. Founded in 1989, the school program serves approximately 120 students each year. Our track record for success includes tangible outcomes such as high school graduation rates exceeding national averages. The impact for our students and their families is immediate and life changing. The Summit Resource Center (SRC), a part of The Summit School, provides ancillary services to the community such as diagnostic testing, benchmark testing, tutoring, informational workshops, summer programs, and professional development. We are seeking an SRC Coordinator to coordinate all operations of this program. This is a 12-month, full time position.

Tech-savvy and proficient with productivity tools to enhance business flow, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management. Ideally familiar with special education, speech/language pathology, school psychology, or counseling, and business/marketing, though not required. This position is outward-facing and requires a motivated self-starter who is driven, able to multitask, and is eager to support the community in a unique way. This position has a strong emphasis on client relationship management.

Main position responsibilities:

Building relationships with potential clients Building relationships with clinicians and tutors Coordinate all business operations for testing and tutoring Manage administrative summer camp duties Manage administrative duties of annual symposia Support the Director of Enrollment Management in admissions activities

Primary Responsibilities Testing:

Coordinates testing as follows: Responds to inquiries about testing services Sends inquirers all appropriate documentation describing assessments and follows up for questions and guidance. Schedules appointments with clinicians & clients Creates the file of the client, assures that the file is inclusive when the case is complete, stores files by year when file drawer is full (digital records of Final Reports) Ensures that all testing materials are replenished and submits orders for additional materials with Executive Director approval Maintains inquiry database Coordinates billing with Business Manager Schedules and administers Benchmark testing Assists with CPT invoices as requested

Coordinate Tutoring:

Fields phone call inquiries from potential tutoring clients to assess their placement needs Places tutoring clients with appropriate tutors Builds and maintains tutor-client database Collects and organizes all client contracts Fields any client concerns regarding tutor or tutoring process and confers with Director of Enrollment Manager and/or Executive Director when appropriate Administers or schedules diagnostic testing to determine appropriate placement for clients Notifies tutors about professional development events at the school when appropriate and when advised by Executive Director Coordinates billing with business manager

Summer Camps Administrator:

Camp Summit (July) and Specialty Camps Coordinate registration, field inquiries Coordinate and schedule screening and testing Assist with marketing and promotion collateral production Assist Camp Director with staff onboarding paperwork Manage administrative camp duties Work collaboratively with Camp Director and assist with state compliance paperwork requirements Symposia - Fall and Spring Events Work with Marketing and Development teams for promotion Coordinate CEUs for attendees If needed, work with speaker (s) to secure accommodations Coordinate registration and volunteers Work in conjunction with Events Coordinator on all facets of event Enrollment Management Team (EMT) Assist Director of Enrollment Management with administrative tasks such as data entry, file maintenance, schedule preparation, and open houses. Serve on Enrollment Management Team with Director of Enrollment Management and Marketing and Communications Manager Assist with retention and EMT efforts such as: coordination of events (Community Talks) and outreach to lead sources The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Google Suite and CRM preferred. Professional development opportunities offered. Strong benefits package including paid time off for school holidays and reduced summer hours. The salary range for this position is $43,000-$50,000, depending on experience, education, and knowledge base.
