Our mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to make meaningful choices, live independently, and thrive in their communities. Position Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Compliance & Corporate Integrity, the Quality Enhancement Coordinator works within the Residential Department to monitor residential programs, evaluate service quality, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring ArcMorris provides high-quality, person-centered services that promote the health, safety, dignity, and independence of the individuals we support. The Quality Enhancement Coordinator conducts residential site reviews, identifies opportunities for improvement, monitors compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborates with leadership to implement corrective action plans. This position also provides guidance to residential management teams, assists with quality assurance projects, and helps foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout residential services.
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday | 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Quality Enhancement Coordinator Key Responsibilities Conduct routine and unannounced quality assurance visits to residential programs. Evaluate residential services for compliance with agency policies, state regulations, licensing standards, and best practices. Monitor person-centered services to ensure individuals receive quality supports that promote independence, choice, and community inclusion. Review documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, medication records, and individual support plans, for accuracy and compliance. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for quality improvement across residential programs. Develop recommendations and collaborate with residential leadership on corrective action plans. Follow up on identified concerns to ensure timely resolution and sustained compliance. Assist with internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and regulatory inspections. Track quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate reports, audit findings, and performance metrics. Participate in investigations involving incidents, complaints, and quality concerns as assigned. Provide coaching and guidance to supervisors and direct support staff regarding quality standards and regulatory expectations. Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. Monitor health, safety, environmental, and programmatic standards within residential locations. Prepare written reports and communicate findings to agency leadership. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and individual information in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies. Participate in on-call responsibilities or special projects as assigned. Follow all ArcMorris policies, procedures, and guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Quality Enhancement Coordinator Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Previous experience in residential services, quality assurance, compliance, or program management preferred. Working knowledge of New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) regulations and licensing standards preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel between residential locations throughout Morris County.
