Community Habilitation Supervisor-OPWDD

Job Description

Overview Provide leadership and oversight to the program, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency policies and procedures. Participate in Life Plan meetings; develop Staff Action Plans (SAPs) for implementation. Establish and maintain positive relationships with individuals supported. Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and timely billing in accordance with agency guidelines and OPWDD regulations. Ensure completion of daily billing, monthly progress reports, and attendance. Provide supervision to Direct Support Professional; complete annual evaluations. Collaborate with program management and Human Resources to manage the candidate selection workflow process. Collaborate in identifying potential candidates for admission, screening, and placement of individuals. Ensure reporting of all incidents, utilizing the chain of command; ensure notification to oversight agencies as per policy and procedure. Monitor payroll; ensure staff compliance with attendance requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director and/or
Operating Officer Ensure Compliance:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic records and ensure all documentation is in compliance with OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) regulations.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field (or related field) required.
Experience:
1+ years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in person-centered planning, instructional methods, and progress tracking. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
License:
A valid New York State driver's license is required.
Knowledge:
Understanding of OPWDD regulations and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$29.00 - $33.00 per hour
