Pathfinder Village, a dynamic, open-access residential community for children and adults with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, is seeking to fill the following positions in accordance with Pathfinder's mission "that each life may find meaning." The Program Specialist Supervisor plays an integral role within the Compliance Department to advocate and promote quality of life outcomes for individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring high-quality service delivery as well as monitoring regulatory compliance and promoting a positive, inclusive environment that reflects Pathfinder Village's mission, values, and commitment to excellence. This supervisory position provides direct oversight, guidance, and support to Program Specialists who translate life plans into actionable, person-centered goals that promote independence. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to root-cause analysis, the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced setting, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications Valid NYS driver's license with no driving restrictions Specialized training or at least one year of experience in treating or working with persons with developmental disabilities. Must be a Qualified Individual Disability Professional (QIDP) as required by regulation by meeting the following requirements: A bachelor's degree from an accredited program in a human services field (including, but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, and psychology) as well as any related academic disciplines associated with the study of human behavior, human skill development, humans and their cultural behavior, or any other study of services related to basic human care needs or the human condition, or who holds permanent certification from the New York State Education Department in a field of education Hourly rate of pay starts at $22 an hour.
