Job Summary The Program Manager acts as the coordinator for all Moore Industries, Inc. programs. This position organizes and manages new product launches, engineering changes, and material changes to establish all standards/requirements before releasing to production and verify customer approval. Responsibilities Solve problems that threaten success or completion of a product/program Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the company Launch new programs and develop operating plan for the life of the program Work with customer at launch to develop master shots and quality standards for both customer reference and the Moore Industries production floor Identify program strengths, risks, and areas for improvement, then work with the appropriate team member(s) to implement improvements as needed Utilize entire production and management team to ensure launch success Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and performance Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved Interact with customers to make communication easy and transparent regarding program issues and decisions on services Review process/run details once established to verify actual tonnage, cycle time, and scrap rate Communicate concerns with President if quoted details cannot be achieved so item(s) can be requoted Finalize program details before releasing to production, including but not limited to potential defects, packaging, part weight, and process flow Develop and submit PPAP requirements according to customer established timeframes Create/obtain and manage program documentation, including part prints Attend mold trials at mold shops as required Issue sample request forms in conjunction with the Engineering Manager, and coordinate scheduling and completion of mold trials Create and update BOM and inventory information as needed Coordinate with Materials Manager for ordering materials Organize part layout requirements, including timing expectations Coordinate with Quality Manager to oversee gage usage and organization as required Keep the management team updated on incoming programs, current programs, and engineering changes Oversee/document engineering changes, and submit updated PPAP documentation as required Experience Customer service experience required Manufacturing in plastic injection molding preferred Familiar with CAD and/or GD&T preferred Proficient in

$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
