Program Specialist for I.D.D. In Home services
Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Program Specialist for I.D.D. (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) In-Home Services to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves coordinating and managing in-home support programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive quality, personalized care that promotes independence and well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent relationship management skills, and a passion for social services. You will play a key role in developing programs, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards, all while fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
Duties Office work:
Answer phones, promptly return calls, monitor emails, maintain files with all proper paperwork up to date, make sure all mandated paperwork is completed annually, data entry with each payroll to monitor usage monthly, follow archiving processes. Assist with billings, monthly, monitoring's, inspections, audits Mail
- collect, sort, date stamp, copy, check goals on all timesheets to ensure complete Manage a caseload of approximately 75 families, keep in contact and work with families, help them get staff, monitor their utilization, attend all meetings, work with the SC to ensure services are being rendered, ensure the budget is being used according to frequency and duration, checks and balances on budgets, ensure that the family is using 25% each quarter, help process 150•200 timesheets per pay, create and monitor goals, do quarterly progress reports, complete assessments.
Use of own car to attend meetings in 6 counties
- Bedford / Somerset, Westmoreland, Indiana / Armstrong, Fayette, Allegheny.
(Mileage reimbursed) Assist transportation drivers with petty cash, and when needed, be a fill in driver (in company vehicle) Willingness to become certified as an ODP incident management investigator. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs in a social services setting Strong relationship management skills to build trust with clients, families, staff, and community partners Administrative experience including documentation, reporting, budgeting, and compliance oversight Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, report writing, and communication purposes Technical project & program management experience to oversee complex initiatives from inception through completion Excellent written communication skills for report writing and client documentation Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly Willingness to ask for help Join us in making a meaningful difference by empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate support and innovative program development. Pay:
$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
