8 INTRODUCTION The employee works under the direct supervision of Multi-Family Weatherization Program Manager to coordinate the program activities of the Multi-Family Weatherization Assistance Program. The employee is responsible for the coordination of the daily operation of the programs including monitoring and inspecting work completed for the Multi-Family Weatherization Program. Works primarily from the central office in Fayetteville, but responsible for monitoring activities in the thirteen counties assigned. Employee will operate light duty vehicles.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from a standard High School or GED; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relatable experience (Required) Five to ten years' relatable experience (Required) Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance Satisfactory background check
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Train Community Service personnel on Multi-Family Weatherization application intake and requirements Responsible for multi-family weatherization application approval and maintaining all documentation for the clients file Responsible for all communications with clients regarding the status of their application Address clients warranty concerns Contacts Auditor to schedule audits and final inspections Performs bid openings with contractors to let jobs for distributed bid packets Responsible for processing voucher/purchase requisitions for payments to contractors and auditors Responsible for program reports to THDA and bi-monthly reports to Agency regarding activities of the program Monitor the day to day progress of each active job Monitor and verify randomly selected multi-family weatherization work completed by contractors to ensure compliance with grant regulations Coordinate program activities with Program Manager to ensure compliance with grantor rules and regulations Coordinate activities with contractors to complete jobs in a timely manner Attain state mandated training to administer the day to day requirements of the program Adheres to professional ethics and standards, demonstrating work habits which comply with Agency Personnel Policies and Procedures.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Ability to speak and communicate effectively with co-workers, customers and community partners, regardless of race, color, creed, religion or national origin Must have a sincere desire to assist the eligible client base with working knowledge of their needs and to effectively assist and communicate with them Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to make arithmetic computations and tabulations accurately Ability to maintain a safe working environment Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction Ability to establish and maintain adequate records and methods for systematic reporting of statistical data Ability to use modern office equipment; computers, calculator, smartphones, copier/scanners Ability to travel within area as required While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; stoop; bend; walk; talk; hear; use hands to grip; reach with hands and arms, required to stand or walk on uneven surfaces; climb stairs and lift up to 30lbs daily The foregoing statements describe the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills that may be required.
