Blue Sky Electrical Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects.. This position is responsible for keeping major projects on schedule, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and vendors, and ensuring that every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Blue Sky's quality standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced electrician and proven leader who takes ownership of their projects, anticipates problems, communicates clearly, and follows every job through to completion. Primary Responsibilities
Manage electrical projects from initial planning through final completion
Develop project strategies, schedules, and execution plans in collaboration with management team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, vendors, team leads, and field personnel
Conduct preconstruction jobsite walkthroughs with the President and contractors
Coordinate weekly project layouts and scopes of work with field teams
Manage multiple projects, crews, and competing priorities
Determine the labor, materials, tools, and equipment required for each project
Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
Track labor and material costs and maintain project audit reporting
Track additional work and change orders and ensure they are properly documented
Identify and close out punch-list items and other project loose ends promptly
Prepare, maintain, and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, meeting notes, inspection records, and change-order documentation
Ensure project plans, specifications, schedules, permits, and other contract documents remain accurate, organized, and accessible to the field team
Coordinate project closeout documentation, including punch lists, testing and inspection records, warranties, operation manuals, and final as-built plans
Perform regular jobsite walkthroughs and quality-control inspections
Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements, building codes, plans, and specifications
Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and vendors
Provide hands-on electrical support when necessary to address critical project needs, troubleshoot field conditions, or support project completion. Leadership Responsibilities The Project Manager will communicate regularly with:
Team Leads and electricians: Daily coordination, direction, problem-solving, and quality control
Contractors and vendors: Multiple times each week for scheduling, materials, project coordination, and relationship management
Administrative Staff:
Coordinate regularly on purchasing documentation, employee time, permits, change orders, project billing, job-cost reporting, and closeout records. Required Qualifications
Five years of electrical experience
3 years of project management or construction leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, equipment, and operations
Proven experience managing construction projects and field teams
Demonstrated history of high-quality electrical workmanship
Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and scopes of work
Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn and work with multiple software programs and computer systems
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required What We're Looking For The successful candidate will be:

Annual salary range $100,000 to $130,000, depending on directly related electrical construction and project management experience.

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
