Project Execution:
Lead cross-functional teams, track program schedules, manage budgets, and oversee resource allocation using planning software.
Customer & Supplier Interface:
Act as the primary contact for client communications, manage deliverables, and partner with quality teams to resolve component and supplier issues.
Risk & Financial Management:
Proactively identify project risks, implement change controls, track expenses, and present status updates to executive leadership.
Technical Oversight:
Apply engineering practices to support design optimization, solve technical issues, and evaluate design changes from a certification standpoint.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years in aerospace or automotive project management, engineering product design, or certification.
Certifications & Standards:
Preferred experience with
DO-160, DO-254, DO-178, SAE AS8049, FAA AC
20-146A, or
TSO/STC/PMA
processes.
Technical Skills:
Working knowledge of SOLIDWORKS or similar CAD software.
Travel & Communication:
strong verbal/written communication skills; available for occasional travel (<15%).
