Job Description The Assistant Project Manager

  • Leesburg, VA will be responsible for: Assist Project Managers with the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects.
Support contract administration, change order management, and project documentation. Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project objectives are achieved. Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and progress reporting. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence. Help manage project costs, forecasting, and documentation to maintain profitability. Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders. Support compliance with quality control, safety, and regulatory requirements. Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and turnover packages. Build strong relationships with clients and project partners throughout the construction process.   • Leesburg, VA should have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
1-5 years of construction project management or project engineering experience. Experience supporting civil, infrastructure, public works, site development, or heavy construction projects. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Experience working with government, municipal, or institutional projects is a plus.
