Project Manager - Steel Fabrication / Manufacturing Job A long-established leader in the steel and metals industry is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team. Responsibilities Manage projects from initial planning through production, delivery, and completion. Coordinate project requirements between customers, engineering, estimating, purchasing, production, and quality. Review drawings, specifications, schedules, purchase orders, and project documentation. Track schedules, materials, costs, milestones, and potential project risks. Communicate with customers regarding project status, changes, deadlines, and delivery expectations. Manage change orders, scope changes, and project documentation. Identify issues early and work with internal teams to develop practical solutions. Help ensure projects meet quality, safety, cost, schedule, and customer expectations. Qualifications Project management experience in steel fabrication, metal fabrication, manufacturing, construction, heavy industrial equipment, structural steel, or a related industry . Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience coordinating with engineering, production, purchasing, vendors, and customers. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities. Heavy industrial manufacturing Welding or fabricated assemblies Estimating, scheduling, procurement, or change-order management Why Work Here?
