Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, organized, and dependable Landscaping Project Manager to oversee landscaping projects from planning through completion. This position is responsible for coordinating crews, managing project schedules, communicating with customers and contractors, monitoring budgets, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. The ideal candidate has experience in landscaping, construction, or project management, along with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including site preparation, grading, drainage, irrigation, planting, sod installation, and hardscape work. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and deliveries. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, and overall project quality. Communicate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and internal team members regarding project updates and scheduling. Review project plans, specifications, work orders, and estimates. Track labor hours, material costs, equipment usage, and project expenses. Identify potential delays, job-site issues, and additional work requirements. Document completed work, maintain project records, and provide progress reports. Ensure crews follow company safety procedures and maintain clean, organized job sites. Assist with estimating, scheduling future work, and coordinating project closeouts. Address customer concerns and help ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in landscaping, landscape construction, construction management, or a related field preferred. Previous experience managing crews, schedules, or multiple projects is preferred. Knowledge of landscaping practices, grading, drainage, irrigation, planting, and hardscape installation. Strong leadership, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read project plans, follow specifications, and understand project scopes. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to visit job sites, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and walk active construction sites. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits Annual salary:
$50,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for salary growth based on performance and responsibilities.
