Project Coordinator Sunrise Pool Builders - Winnebago, IL Help Build Some of the Midwest's Most Unique Commercial Swimming Pools Sunrise Pool Builders is one of Northern Illinois' leading commercial swimming pool contractors. We specialize in designing and constructing high-quality commercial pools, aquatic facilities, and water features throughout Illinois and the Midwest. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator who enjoys managing multiple projects, solving problems, and keeping construction projects moving from contract award through project closeout. What You'll Do As our Project Coordinator, you'll work directly with our Project Managers to keep commercial construction projects organized and moving forward.

Responsibilities include:

Coordinate projects from contract award through final closeout Prepare and process construction contracts and project documentation Apply for permits with city, county, and state agencies Track permit status and follow up with agencies as needed Coordinate subcontractor agreements and insurance certificates Prepare monthly construction billing packages, change orders, and lien waivers Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking Maintain accurate project records and documentation Update project management software and internal tracking systems Coordinate communication between customers, project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and government agencies Prepare closeout documents, owner's manuals, warranty information, and turnover packages Review employee timecards for accuracy Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and project collections Support daily office operations and administrative functions Help improve internal processes and documentation What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Extremely organized Detail oriented Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable following up with contractors and customers Professional and confident communicating by phone and email Self-motivated and able to work independently A problem solver who takes ownership of responsibilities Able to prioritize changing workloads and deadlines Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of construction administration or project coordination experience Experience in commercial construction preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience with QuickBooks, JobTread, Smartsheet, Procore, Buildertrend, or similar project management software is a plus Experience processing permits, contracts, invoices, or construction billing is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Why Join Sunrise Pool Builders?
