We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and construction-minded Working Project Coordinator to join our team. This is not a strictly office-based position. The Working Project Coordinator will work closely with our sales team, office administrator, foremen, vendors, and homeowners to make sure projects are properly prepared, correctly supplied, efficiently installed, and professionally completed. The right person will be comfortable managing multiple projects, visiting active job sites, communicating with customers and crews, and stepping in to help with small hands-on tasks when needed. Responsibilities Review upcoming projects with the sales team Work with foremen to make sure crews understand the scope of work Prepare material picklists and coordinate construction materials Confirm materials arrive correctly and on time Coordinate dumpsters, equipment, deliveries, and other job-site needs Help coordinate permits and required project documentation Monitor material lead times and backorders Visit active job sites and monitor project progress Make sure work is being completed according to the project scope Identify installation issues before they become larger problems Coordinate additional materials when needed Help reduce unnecessary supplier runs and crew downtime Communicate with homeowners and provide scheduling and project updates Help resolve routine project concerns Coordinate with the sales team when project changes arise Assist with punch lists and project closeout Help ensure completed jobs are clean, organized, and ready for final completion This Is a Working Position This is primarily a project coordination and management role, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable being involved in the field. The Working Project Coordinator may occasionally be asked to: Pick up, deliver, unload, or organize materials Take measurements and verify site conditions Assist with minor repairs or adjustments Complete small punch-list items Help a foreman with a small task when necessary This person is not expected to replace a full-time installer. However, we are looking for someone willing to step in when needed to help get the job completed. What We Are Looking For Highly organized, proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable working independently and making decisions Able to manage several projects at once Able to communicate professionally with homeowners Comfortable working directly with construction crews and foremen Able to recognize when something does not look right Willing to ask questions, solve problems, and think ahead Comfortable working both in the office and in the field Willing to take ownership of projects Experience Previous residential construction experience is strongly preferred. We are especially interested in candidates with experience as a: Construction Project Coordinator Assistant Project Manager Project Manager Production Coordinator Construction Foreman Lead Carpenter Residential Remodeling Professional Construction Superintendent We would also strongly consider an experienced foreman, carpenter, or tradesperson who understands residential construction and is looking to transition into project coordination and management while remaining involved in the field. A college degree is not required. Practical construction knowledge, organization, communication, and accountability are more important to us. Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to job sites throughout Southeastern Massachusetts Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using email, smartphones, and project-management software Ability to understand construction scopes, measurements, plans, and product specifications Basic hands-on construction ability preferred Compensation $28.00-$33.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
