Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager - Scheduling supports project teams with scheduling, coordination, reporting, and project controls for utility-scale solar, BESS, and electrical construction projects. This role will help maintain project schedules, track milestones, identify delays, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractors, and field teams. Key Responsibilities Assist with development and maintenance of detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software. Update schedules based on project progress and field reports. Track critical path activities, milestones, and schedule performance. Identify potential delays and assist with developing recovery plans. Coordinate schedule updates with Project Managers, Construction Managers, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors. Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports and project status updates. Track engineering, procurement, permitting, equipment deliveries, and construction activities. Maintain project documentation and scheduling records. Assist with project meetings, action items, and follow-up. Support change management, forecasting, and project controls activities. Perform other project management duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in construction, project management, scheduling, or project controls. Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling software preferred. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Construction, utility, solar, BESS, electrical, or EPC experience preferred.
