Nutra-Med Packaging is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning function supporting our cGMP pharmaceutical packaging and CDMO operations. This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of customer demand, production capacity, material availability, inventory strategy, and operational execution . We're looking for a planning leader who can see the big picture while staying close to the details. Someone who can turn data into decisions, anticipate constraints before they become problems, develop a strong planning team, and bring Sales, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, and other stakeholders together around one executable plan. What You'll Lead As Planning Manager, you will lead and develop the planning team responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through shipment and monitoring and managing material requirement signals across the operation.

You will:
  • Own the
SIOP/S&OP

process , integrating customer forecasts, historical demand, market trends, inventory strategies, and operational capacity to identify risks, evaluate scenarios, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Develop and maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and planning reports that improve visibility into forecast accuracy, forecast bias, inventory health, material availability, schedule adherence, and overall supply chain performance .
  • Translate demand into accurate and timely material requirement signals for Purchasing and clear execution requirements for Packaging, Warehouse, Shipping, Quality, and other operational teams.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Account Management, Operations, Packaging, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and senior leadership to align priorities, planning assumptions, timelines, capacity, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with commercial and operational stakeholders to plan for new product introductions, product transitions, supply constraints, changing customer demand, and capacity requirements .
  • Lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts related to supply, demand, inventory, capacity, transportation, and customer commitments .
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, governance, ERP utilization, forecasting tools, automation, reporting, templates, and supply chain execution.
  • Establish, monitor, and continuously improve planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, forecast bias, schedule adherence, material availability, inventory health, and service performance .
  • Lead, coach, and develop Production Planners and Associate Production Planners, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and operational excellence .
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners, to support timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Support strategic business initiatives and evolving organizational priorities as Nutra-Med Packaging continues to grow.

What You Bring We're looking for a leader who combines analytical horsepower, operational judgment, strong communication, and people leadership .

Our ideal candidate brings:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field , preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, production planning, forecasting, supply chain, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing employees .
  • Experience with S&OP/SIOP, demand forecasting, capacity planning, material requirements, inventory management, and production planning .
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex planning data into practical business decisions.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and planning/forecasting tools.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across commercial and operational functions.
  • Experience within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, CDMO, packaging, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment strongly preferred.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

The role primarily operates in an office and manufacturing environment utilizing standard computer equipment, ERP systems, and planning and forecasting applications. The position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer and may require occasional travel between company facilities.
