This position supports project managers with coordinating projects from planning through completion, tracking materials, and monitoring progress. Day-to-day tasks include submitting product data, samples and shop drawings, communicating with vendors, customers, and installation crews, preparing and updating project documentation such as ASI's, RFI's and change orders. The role also involves helping to expedite vendor orders, resolve logistical issues, and maintain accurate records for timelines. The Assistant Project Manager collaborates closely with the operations team for review of documents such as shop drawings and project specific vendor and product selection. Qualifications & Experience required: High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or training in construction management or related fields is beneficial. Minimum of six months as an administrative assistant (or comparable role) preferably in a commercial glazing office or evidence of high proficiency in the role of a commercial glazing administrative assistant. Basic proficiency with office software, Bluebeam and project tracking tools; willingness to learn other company systems. Comfort working in a construction or trades environment; preferably glazing industry experience. Clear and professional communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and customers. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up is a must.

Industry experience preferred:

Knowledge of all phases of commercial glass and glazing, including storefront, curtain wall, aluminum doors and hardware, and all-glass entries. Knowledge of the entire commercial construction process, from pre-qualification through project close-out. Ability to read and understand architectural plans, specifications, and glazing shop drawings. Experience corresponding/interacting with contractors and vendors Familiarity with submittals, change orders, RFI forms, review of shop drawings, ordering of materials, and ability to successfully organize project documents.
