Kingdom Marine - Marine Project Manager About Kingdom Marine Kingdom Marine is a growing marine service company specializing in sailboats, powerboats, yacht commissioning, marine electrical systems, and race boat support. We work closely with local brokers, charter fleets, racing programs, and private vessel owners throughout Rhode Island and the surrounding boating community. As our workload continues to grow, we are seeking a Marine Project Manager to help oversee projects from initial customer contact through final delivery. This position is ideal for an experienced marine professional looking to transition from primarily field work into a leadership and operations role while remaining connected to the technical side of the industry. Position Overview The Marine Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, managing customer expectations, scheduling technicians, tracking project budgets and timelines, procuring materials, and ensuring projects are completed to Kingdom Marine's standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong marine systems knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance customer service with operational efficiency. Previous experience with sailboats, powerboats, marine electrical systems, commissioning, or service management is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple marine service and commissioning projects simultaneously Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, brokers, manufacturers, and vendors Develop project schedules and coordinate technician assignments Monitor project budgets, labor hours, and material costs Create and manage work orders, job lists, and project documentation Coordinate procurement of equipment, parts, and materials Assist in estimating and preparing customer proposals Track project progress and communicate updates to customers Coordinate warranty claims and manufacturer support when necessary Support commissioning projects for new sailboats and powerboats Work closely with field technicians to resolve technical challenges and maintain project timelines Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer satisfaction Help develop and improve company processes, workflows, and operational systems Preferred Qualifications Minimum 5 years of marine industry experience Strong understanding of sailboat and powerboat systems Working knowledge of marine electrical systems, charging systems, navigation electronics, hydraulics, fuel systems, and plumbing systems Previous experience managing projects, service departments, or field teams preferred ABYC, NMEA, or manufacturer certifications are a plus Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and project management tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What Success Looks Like Projects delivered on time and within budget High levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business Efficient technician scheduling and utilization Accurate project documentation and billing Strong communication between customers, technicians, brokers, and suppliers Continued growth and improvement of Kingdom Marine's operations Why Join Kingdom Marine?
