We partner with owners, utility providers, developers and other GC's over most of Texas. We are seeking a dynamic, hard working, quick thinking and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee our construction department and it's projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role will also dabble in the service department world a little to assist where the service work becomes a little to big for just service work. To be honest this role is a direct replacement for myself (third generation water/waste water construction owner) as my company has grown and transitioned to new levels I must pass off duties to the new champion of this role. It will be a hands on and work minded position as I transition to the next step in what my company needs me to do. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills who can coordinate multiple crews, multiple projects, manage resources effectively, and uphold the highest standards of construction management and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing infrastructure projects, a deep understanding of construction scheduling and cost management, and proficiency with industry-standard project management practices. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Manage project budgets meticulously, including cost estimation, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost control measures. Supervise construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards while maintaining a focus on regulatory adherence. Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate clear communication, resolve issues promptly, and ensure project alignment with client expectations. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes. Lead project teams by managing personnel assignments, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or budget overruns. Ensure proper documentation of all project activities including daily logs, incident reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation for audit readiness. Qualifications Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery. Strong understanding of construction scheduling principles combined with practical experience in construction schedule coordination. Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets effectively through detailed cost management strategies. Skilled in reading blueprints and construction plans accurately; familiar with contracts and legal aspects of construction projects. Hands-on construction site experience coupled with comprehensive knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards. Excellent leadership capabilities in managing teams within a fast-paced environment; adept at project coordination across multiple stakeholders. Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
