Assistant Project Manager -

Steel-Fabric Building Construction Location:

Rhome, TX | Full-time | In-Person GNB Global is a recognized leader in the design, manufacturing, and commercial construction of engineered steel-framed, fabric-tensioned buildings. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management team in Rhome, TX. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with Project Managers to help ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to company standards. You'll assist with coordination, documentation, communication, and day-to-day project needs. Responsibilities and Duties Assist with planning, organizing, and coordinating commercial construction projects. Support procurement of materials, designs, and engineering resources. Help manage project permitting, scheduling, deadlines, and milestone tracking. Coordinate with Construction Managers, Superintendents, and Lead Hands. Assist with monitoring project budgets and timelines. Support invoicing and project documentation at key milestones. Help maintain and promote GNB's high safety standards on all jobsites. Assist with updating and managing site-specific Health & Safety programs. Prepare reports, logs, and documentation for project leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements 1-3 years of experience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects. Basic understanding of construction plans, drafting, and engineering drawings. Strong skills in project coordination, scheduling support, and documentation. Excellent communication with PMs, Superintendents, field crews, and vendors. Strong organization and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and digital documentation. Problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate issues appropriately. Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to jobsites in the U.S. and Canada as needed. Valid driver's license; ability to pass background and drug screening.

Travel between job sites as needed.
