This position ensures that CORs are properly assigned, internal designs are managed efficiently, customer approvals are obtained and documented, and production files are reviewed throughout all departments before and during production. The Design Project Manager serves as a central point of communication between the Design Department, Customer Service/Sales, Production Departments, and Management to ensure projects remain accurate, organized, and on schedule. Duties & Responsibilities Review incoming CORs and assign them to the appropriate designer based on workload, project requirements, priorities, and deadlines. Monitor assigned CORs and ensure design projects are progressing according to schedule. Manage internal design projects from initial request through final completion. Establish and maintain priorities and deadlines for internal design work. Coordinate and manage customer design approvals before projects are released to production. Track outstanding customer approvals and follow up as necessary to prevent production delays. Communicate customer-requested revisions to the Design Team and ensure changes are completed accurately. Verify that final customer approvals are received and properly documented. Ensure final production files match the designs and revisions approved by the customer. Review production files throughout all departments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with approved artwork and project specifications. Verify that all departments are working with the correct and most current production files. Identify design, artwork, sizing, placement, or file-related issues before they result in production errors or rework. Coordinate necessary file corrections with designers and the appropriate production departments. Maintain clear communication between the Design Department, Customer Service/Sales, Production Departments, and Management. Work closely with department supervisors and managers to resolve design and production-file questions or concerns. Communicate project changes, corrections, approvals, deadlines, and priorities to all affected departments. Monitor projects throughout the design and production process to ensure established timelines and customer deadlines are met. Help identify and resolve workflow issues between Design and Production. Maintain proper documentation of project revisions, approvals, and final production files. Assist in improving design and production workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and communication between departments. Help prevent incorrect, outdated, or unapproved artwork from reaching production. Escalate critical design or production issues that could affect product quality, production schedules, or customer deadlines.

Pay:

$14.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
