The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, staff leadership, and customer service, with a proven ability to maintain high occupancy rates and deliver exceptional resident experiences. This role requires excellent communication skills, conflict management abilities, and a thorough knowledge of fair housing and property regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision:
Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate on-site staff; oversee performance, discipline, and HR compliance.
Marketing/Leasing/Customer Service:
Manage leasing, renewals, customer relations, and competitive analysis; maintain accurate records in Rent Manager.
Financials:
Support budget planning, maximize revenue, oversee collections and deposits, manage expenses, and coordinate with vendors and legal counsel.
Maintenance & Property Appearance:
Ensure homes and common areas meet standards; oversee inspections, turnkeys, and upkeep.
Accountability & Problem-Solving:
Model company values, maintain performance standards, and implement effective solutions.
Safety:
Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and oversee compliance with OSHA/EPA and insurance processes.
Other:
Participate in training, collaborate with regional/corporate managers, and complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Proven leadership and property management experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Knowledge of housing/property regulations. Proficiency with property management software and related tools.
Work Environment:
Combination of office and on-site work. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and outdoor exposure. Benefits (Full-Time): Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
