We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Social Practitioner who enjoys working alongside members in a collaborative, recovery-focused environment. This is not a traditional case management position. As a Social Practitioner, you'll work side-by-side with members in the daily operation of the Clubhouse, helping create opportunities for growth, purpose, and connection. What You'll Do As part of our team, you will: Work collaboratively with members throughout the Work-Ordered Day , encouraging participation and building meaningful relationships. Provide peer-informed support that promotes recovery, independence, and community inclusion. Meet individually with members to identify employment goals, strengths, interests, skills, and potential barriers. Assist members with job searches, applications, résumé development, cover letters, interview preparation, and workplace readiness. Develop relationships with local employers and community partners to create employment opportunities for members. Assist with community outreach, events, and special projects. Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and inclusive Clubhouse environment. Collaborate with staff and members to ensure the Clubhouse operates as a shared community where everyone contributes. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about mental health recovery, employment services, and community-based support. Comfortable providing hands-on employment coaching and individualized support. Creative and organized, with strong communication skills. Able to build authentic relationships with diverse individuals. Flexible and willing to jump into a variety of daily tasks. Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms. Able to balance administrative work with direct member engagement. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in behavioral health, peer support, social services, or community programs. Experience with employer outreach, job coaching, career planning, résumé development, and interview preparation. Familiarity with benefits planning, workplace accommodations, and community employment resources is a plus. Experience with photography, videography, graphic design, or social media management is a plus. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Why Connections House?
