Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Manager to oversee the operations and management of a 56-Unit Apartment Community and Storage Facility in Poway, CA. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive living environment, enhancing resident satisfaction, and ensuring the community runs smoothly. This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent customer relationship management abilities, and a knack for conflict resolution. Duties Manage day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with property management policies and local laws. Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate resident records. Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents to enhance community engagement and satisfaction. Address resident concerns and conflicts promptly, utilizing effective conflict management techniques. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates. Implement sales strategies to promote community features and amenities, including upselling available units. Organize community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging among residents. Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure the property is well-maintained and any issues are addressed swiftly. Requirements Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and file management. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. Experience with AppFolio software is highly desirable. Strong conflict management skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to property management is desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer relationship management. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
