Rio Viento is nestled on Sherman Island along the Sacramento River. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our guests. Whether they be windsports enthusiasts, fishermen, travelling workers, or those just looking to get away for a weekend. We take pride in our clean facilities, friendly atmosphere, and well-maintained grounds. We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and energetic Permanent Resident RV Park Management Team to oversee daily operations, drive revenue, and maintain our high community standards.
Job Overview:
This is a year-round, permanent position responsible for the complete operational success of the park. The successful candidates must live on-site and act as the face of the park, overseeing guest relations, property maintenance, staff management, and administrative duties. This hands-on role requires maintenance and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform and coordinate repairs to park facilities, grounds, and RV park infrastructure. The ideal team has a strong hospitality background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of RV park operations and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services and Relations:
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. Foster a welcoming and friendly environment for guests. Handle guest reservations, check-ins and check-outs, coordinate site assignments, and enforce park policies.
Staff Supervision and Training:
Recruit, train, and supervise park staff. Develop work schedules and assign duties to ensure smooth operations. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to maintain service standards.
Maintenance and Operations:
Ensure the RV park, facilities, and amenities (e.g. restrooms, recreational areas) are well-maintained, clean, and safe. Conduct regular inspections of the park to identify and address maintenance needs. Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors for repairs and upgrades as needed.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce Park rules and regulations, ensuring the safety and comfort of all guests. Maintain knowledge of local and state regulations related to RV park operations and ensure compliance. Prepare for and respond to emergencies, including evacuations, inclement weather, and medical situations.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hospitality management, property management, or a related field; prior experience in RV parks or campgrounds is preferred
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred.
Skills:
Excellent customer service and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and team leadership. Basic knowledge of lawn equipment, plumbing, irrigation and electrical systems is a plus.
Technical:
Proficiency in reservation and billing software, as well as general computer skills (MS Office Suite).
Other:
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; valid driver's license.
Working Conditions:
This role will require outdoor work in various weather conditions. Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including weekends, holidays, and emergency situations.
