We are looking for a positive, outgoing, and personable individual who genuinely enjoys working with people and can "smile through the phone." The right person should be friendly, professional, dependable, and comfortable communicating with tenants, property owners, prospective tenants, vendors, and the public. We are seeking this individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager . This position combines in-office paperwork and administrative work with routine property inspections in the field . A California Real Estate Salesperson License is strongly preferred. If not currently licensed, we are looking for someone who intends to obtain their California Real Estate Salesperson License in the near future. Previous property management experience is not required . We can train property management. We are primarily looking for the right personality, attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day management of residential and commercial properties Perform routine property inspections and document property conditions Assist with move-in, move-out, and periodic inspections Prepare notices, correspondence, reports, and other property management paperwork Answer phones and communicate with tenants, owners, prospective tenants, vendors, and contractors Provide friendly and professional customer service both in person and over the phone Coordinate maintenance requests, vendor appointments, inspections, and property access Perform data entry, document management, filing, and general office duties Assist with leasing and property-related activities as permitted by California law and the employee's licensing status Maintain property records and follow up on outstanding items Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments Help with other property management and office duties as needed Qualifications California Real Estate Salesperson License strongly preferred If not currently licensed, an intention to obtain a California Real Estate Salesperson License in the near future Previous property management or real estate experience is helpful but not required Positive, outgoing, and friendly personality Strong customer-service attitude and comfortable speaking with people on the phone Able to remain pleasant and professional when dealing with different personalities and situations Basic organizational, communication, and computer skills Dependable and willing to learn Comfortable working both in the office and in the field conducting property inspections Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work-related property inspections About the Position This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career in real estate and property management . Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
