Housing Technician (Property Management)

Job Description

The Delta Housing Authority is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housing Programs Technician to join our team. This position assists individuals and families seeking affordable housing by processing applications, determining eligibility, maintaining waiting lists, conducting resident certifications, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with housing program requirements. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, managing detailed records, and making a positive impact in the community.

Full-Time Hourly Rate:
$22.07 - $32.42 Key Responsibilities Process housing applications and determine program eligibility. Conduct resident interviews, admissions, annual recertifications, and move-in/move-out procedures. Calculate rents and verify income and assets in accordance with program requirements. Manage waiting lists and maintain resident and applicant records. Coordinate inspections, work orders, and resident communications. Monitor occupancy, collections, and program compliance. Assist residents, applicants, and the public with housing-related inquiries. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with federal housing regulations and agency policies. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience in housing, social services, property management, public assistance programs, or a related field preferred. Strong customer service, organization, and computer skills. Ability to work with detailed regulations and maintain accurate records. Valid Colorado driver's license required.
