Oversee daily operations of assigned residential homes, ensuring a safe, healthy, and home-like environment. Manage staffing schedules, coverage, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance development. Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing standards, and state and federal regulations. Support individuals with daily living activities, community integration, and skill development. Coordinate medical appointments, medication oversight, and health-related services. Review and maintain required documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, treatment plans, and monthly reports. Conduct medication audits, weekly medication counts, and ensure proper medication administration practices. Manage household budgets, petty cash, facility upkeep, and maintenance needs. Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and community partners. Respond to emergencies, participate in the on-call rotation, and provide after-hours management support as needed. Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental health needs. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid non-provisional CT driver's license for at least three years. Personal vehicle with state-required insurance coverage. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to pass required background screenings, abuse registry checks, and drug testing. Preferred Previous supervisory or management experience in a residential or group home setting. Experience with medication administration, documentation, and regulatory compliance. CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification. Schedule Full-Time, Non-Exempt Position 40-hour workweek with direct support responsibilities in ratio Flexible schedule based on program needs May include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency coverage Participation in on-call rotation required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist individuals as needed. Ability to provide personal care assistance and support mobility needs. Ability to safely operate agency vehicles and transport individuals when required. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
